A nearby flag shop had a sign out front, encouraging patriotism and imploring passers-by to “show your colors.”
Next to the sign was a beautiful red, white, and blue flag.
Only problem was that the red, the white, and the blue were displayed not in stars and stripes, but in three bars. I wonder how many people realized they were looking at the national emblem of France.
